Does your child start school this year? Or are they currently in Reception? This seminar hosted by Bella Learning is designed to help parents understand everything about the Reception classroom. Through practical activities and specialist advice, you will become confident in supporting your child as they navigate the first year of school.

Annabel will help you picture what an average day might look like, what is expected of our 4 and 5 year olds and how the curriculum and assessment works. You will also gain an insight into the common practices and teaching methods, as well as guidance on help with reading and maths at home.

Armed with this knowledge, you will be best placed to support your unique child as they enter those school gates.

This workshop is a general overview of what life in Reception is like and does not replace the information specific to the school your child attends.

Ticket price is £15 per household or £20 including the Reception Games Pack (worth £10 – recommended).
