Is your child currently in Year 1? Or do they start in September? This seminar hosted by Bella Learning is designed to help parents understand everything about the Year 1 classroom. Through practical activities and specialist advice, you will become confident in supporting your child as they navigate the transition our of the Reception class.
Annabel will help you picture what an average day might look like, and how this alters from the Reception class. Annabel will cover what is expected of your 5 and 6 year olds and how the curriculum works. You will also gain an insight into the common practices and teaching methods, as well as guidance on help with reading and maths at home.
Armed with this knowledge, you will be best placed to support your unique child as they navigate Year 1.
This workshop is a general overview of what life in Year 1 is like and does not replace the information specific to the school your child attends.
Ticket price includes the Year 1 Games Pack which contains 15 games to play with your child (worth £10).
