Welcome to the ninth challenge for primary school children. These challenges are open-ended, purposeful tasks, differentiated for different abilities, that your child can enjoy every day.

Today’s challenge is about creating a fun hunt for your friends. Children are asked to make design a treasure hunt.

ALL: Discuss what a treasure hunt is and if you have done any before. Decide together what makes a good clue. Then take your time to think of places to hide clues for another family member to do. Will they find the treasure?

Ask A Teacher and Challenge of the day are run on a voluntary basis by Bella Learning. If you have a child in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2, you may be interested in purchasing these Bella Learning Games packs – another fun way to keep learning going at home.
